The 2010 Milwaukee Brewfest website has officially launched! Visit MilwaukeeBrewfest.com to view the local and national breweries that the Brewfest will be featuring, as well as the contestants for the 2010 Brewfest Queen!

The First Annual Milwaukee Brewfest – July 31st, 2010

July 31st – Milwaukee will host the first annual Milwaukee Brewfest featuring over 100 craft beers and micro brews from all over the United States.

The Brewfest will take place at the Old Coast Guard Pavilion Park on Milwaukee’s Eastside offering beautiful views of Lake Michigan and the McKinley Marina.

The event will take place from 3PM-7PM, with VIP ticket holders allowed early admission at 2 PM to sample select limited edition and otherwise rare brews.

In addition to sampling the Brews, a number of other activities and attractions will be on hand including:
- Live music from the Squeezettes
- Home brewing demos
- Beer and food pairings
- Crowning of the 2010 Miss Brewfest
- Tons of food from local restaurants

Round trip shuttle buses will run be available throughout the day to a number of locations in the Third Ward, Downtown, and the Eastside.

The $55 VIP tickets include:
- 2PM entry to the Brewfest, one hour prior to general admission
- Access to limited edition and specialty brews not available to the general public
- Food sampling from local restaurants and producers
- Parking Pass to the Brewfest parking lot
- Commemorative 2010 Brewfest Mug
- Unlimited Sampling of over 100 craft beers and micro brews

The $40 General admission tickets include:
- 3PM entry to Brewfest

2010 Milwaukee Brewfest Brew Queen Contest

In just two weeks, event plans will be unveiled for what is certain be one of THE best loved annual event ever to hit Brew City; The 2010 Milwaukee Brewfest!

More details will be coming on the event and all the surrounding activities in 2 weeks!

In the meantime, we are looking for 10 lovely ladies who can serve as Brewfest Queen contestants. The chosen contestants will be photographed, submit a 100 word essay on “Why I Love Beer,” and have fun promoting the event on air, at guest appearances, and more. At the end of the day, we’re looking for individuals who have a great, fun loving attitude to represent the festival and Milwaukee, the Brew City!

Voting for the Brewfest Queen will take place in late July with the winner receiving $1000 in cash and prizes.

All nominations must be submitted by May 12th at 5PM.

All contestants must be at least 21 years of age.

This Friday, April 16th from 6-9PM, Corcoran Lofts will be hosting an viewing of the artwork of nationally renowned artist, Julian Correa. Julian Correa, one of our in house favorites, is an urban artist who portrays his representations of the world through the use of literal and abstract icons, shapes and illustrations.

Don’t miss this one of a kind event. There will be cocktails and appetizers during the viewing.

Great Lakes Distillery presents: Casino & Cocktails Series benefitting The American Red Cross

Beginning Saturday, March 27th, Great Lakes Distillery will play host to “Casino & Cocktails,” three monthly casino styled events with proceeds benefiting The American Red Cross.

For a donation of $20 to The American Red Cross, guests will receive playing chips to try their luck at a number of classic tables games including, Black Jack, Roulette, Craps, and Poker! Throughout the night, players will have a chance to win over $1000 in prizes and also the opportunity to “cash in” the chips they have accumulated for prizes from our sponsors in an auction at the end of the night!

Re-buys will be available throughout the night for players interested in taking another shot at these great prizes.

Professionally trained casino staff will be on hand overseeing all gaming activity, while also offering instructionals to beginners in attendance.

In addition to the games, guest can enjoy complimentary Rehorst cocktail tastings from Great Lakes Distillery, Wine tastings from Universal Beverage Co., & Bloody Marys from Jimmy Luvs! A cash bar and hors d’oeuvres will also be available for our guest’s enjoyment.
